Cory
Cory has been a fisherman all his life. Growing up in Bermuda gave him the taste for saltwater and his love and respect for the ocean. After returning to Canada at age eleven, Cory continued his Love of fishing in the rivers and lakes surrounding Winnipeg. He later moved to Calgary and the Bow River where he began fly fishing. After attaining a diploma in Engineering Drafting and Design, he opted for an office in the outdoors. Cory began his career as a professional guide at Scott Lake Lodge, where he has been working summers since 1993. In 2002, he started guiding out of Puerto Jimenez, Costa Rica, where he fell in love with the country, the Golfo Dulce, and the fishing. Although he likes catching them all, inshore and off, the Roosterfish became my favorite target. Through the years Cory has concentrated more on larger Roosters, becoming proficient at catching trophy size of 40-75lbs. In 2007 we started Tropic Fins Adventures.

She is now also working in schools in Canada for part of the year.
Tosh
Tosh has become quite the fisherman over the years. He has appeared in a number of newspaper and magazine articles. Like his father his passion lies within the ocean. Whether it be fishing, surfing, kayaking, snorkelling, or spearfishing. The kid has fins, a fro and is most happy when salty. Click here for Tosh’s page
Kaya
Kaya was the addition that completed our family. She is our creative little artist. Kaya likes to fish, but Loves to swim with the fish. She started snorkeling at a very early age and, looks forward to out trips to the reef. She also loves gymnastics, jazz, art, and time at the beach with her family. Oh and of course…fighting with her brother.
We are working towards the best of both worlds. Splitting our time between high seasons in Costa Rica as well as Canada to give the kids a taste of life in the north.
